Job description for Analyst intern for Microsoft Advertising
Responsibilities
??????Provide support and consulting on client's/partner’s strategy in the areas of sales, marketing and/or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions and/or insights to facilitate business decision-making.
??????Develop and own analytical modeling for key client/partner projects, apply and/or customize analytical tools (e.g., dashboards) and frameworks to identify opportunities, and develop solutions to optimize client/partner business and maximize the use and effectiveness of ads products.
??????Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth with clients/partners, conduct in-depth analysis and identify business opportunities, and support the development of go-to-market business pitch and marketing collateral
??????Deliver effective communications and presentations to multiple levels of stakeholders.
Minimum qualifications:
??????Current master degree students (available to provide Certificate of An Enrolled Student)
??????Good analytical skills (Excel, SQL, etc.)
??????Passion for Digital Media or Advertising industry
??????Available to work 40 hours per week, with an internship duration of 6 months
Preferred qualifications:
??????1 year of client-facing experience, with a track record of influencing across levels.
??????1 year of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
??????Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materializing tables).
??????Ability to analyze large datasets and distill them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
??????Strong written and verbal English communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories
